Thanks to the weather, this year's Lochaber Dinghy 3 Peaks Race turned out a little differently from planned. The race on Sunday 13 May attracted entries from 40 competitors including 22 hill runners in 13 sailing dinghies .

DMYC Regatta « Irish OK Dinghy Association
Saturday last saw the DMYC Regatta taking the place of the normal DBSC Saturday sailing. With classes from IRC Class 0 to PY Dinghy there was a wide variety of boats on the water but the race team was ready for it.

Maybe I am still mentally locked in the world of sailboats and trawlers where dinghy's are a necessity. I dont see too many houseboats with dinghys. Is that because houseboats generally beach themselves?
